Interview with The Native Influence

Last month, The Native Influence reached out and asked if they could feature me in their "A Day in My Life" series. The Native Influence is a website that aims to promote personal and professional growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It seeks to inspire, encourage, and enlighten through featuring and promoting high-quality content from industry experts, leaders, entrepreneurs, and influencers. Check out my answers below!

What To Know About Me

My Goals of the Day: To help people understand how their environment impacts their life and how much easier it is to achieve their goals when they’re living in a supportive and nurturing space.

My Thought of the Day: Intentions are powerful. Be clear on what you want, and the rest will fall into place.

My Action of the Day: Collaborating with colleagues on how we can package our services together, providing increased value for our clients while helping each other succeed.

My Deed of the Day: To surround myself with people who inspire me and lift me up.

My Tip of the Day: Release that which you cannot control (currently a work in progress for me!)

My Pic of the Day:

A Day in My Life

What do you love most about your city? I love that Denver has everything: a great music scene, every type of cuisine imaginable, lots of industry and shopping, and diverse neighborhoods, all located in the middle of the most beautiful natural surroundings. Plus, I’ve never been anywhere else where people are so friendly all the time.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant? A bagel and coffee at New York Deli News.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – I have a strict policy of not getting up before the sun. So, at 6:00 am, I’m most likely deep in a REM sleep state.

10:00 AM – Depending on the day, either catching up on emails, connecting with new colleagues, working on a blog post, planning out my social media for the week, or in the middle of a yoga class.

12:00 PM - Favorite lunch spot/meal? Pasta Pasta Pasta in Cherry Creek. What could be better than authentic Tuscan food in the heart of Denver?

7:00 PM - Enjoying dinner with friends, or catching up on any personal calls or emails that have come in throughout the day.

11:00 PM – Decompressing, reading, and binging on my favorite TV shows.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)? A bit boring, but water. Denver’s super dry so I need to stay hydrated!

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account? @witenry. His work is totally mesmerizing and also oddly relaxing.

What should everyone try at least once? Traveling on your own, especially to another country. You’ll quickly learn how capable and strong you are.

Where do you enjoy getting lost? Wikipedia.
